BOPN Global Outreach
Practical Emergency & Critical Care Training Based on Your Reality
BOPN Global Outreach is a volunteer initiative created by a team of emergency and critical care clinicians based in California. We travel to high-need and resource-limited settings to provide hands-on training that supports frontline clinicians in the work they already do.
We have no interest in telling anyone how to run their system. You know your patients, challenges, and environment far better than we ever could. Our role is simply to listen, learn what would be helpful, and offer practical training adapted to your local practice.
Our Philosophy
- No cost training for in-need hospitals, clinics, or organizations
- We do not push any ideology, religion, or politics — ever
- We do not come in with assumptions about what your community needs
- Your team sets the priorities
- Training is adapted to your equipment, workflows, and constraints

We believe knowledge is meant to be shared — respectfully, humbly, and in partnership with the people who understand their communities best.
What We Offer
We do not start with a preset curriculum unless there is a course that you specifically need. You tell us what would be most useful, and we design training around that.
Common requests include:
- Neonatal stabilization
- Pediatric emergency care
- Trauma assessment & early management
- Emergency care in low-resource environments
- Rapid clinical assessment & decision-making
- High-acuity teamwork & communication
- Bedside hands-on skills workshops
Training is always adapted to the real-world conditions of your facility — equipment availability, staffing levels, patient mix, and local practice.
